NBDC Council of Advisory Boards (NBDC-CAB)
NBDC-CAB recruits entrepreneurs, bankers, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals to assist high growth potentional ventures in strategic planning. These experienced volunteers serve on an advisory board for a period of 12 months. MORE INFO
SBIR/STTR Assistance
The SBIR program, an important grant resource for entrepreneurial innovators, evaluates proposals for the feasibility of commercializing an idea. NBDC business services can help prepare a succcessful SBIR proposal. An NBDC consultant can help the grant candidate understand the SBIR and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) (requiring University/ entrepreneur collaboration) process. MORE INFO

COUNCIL OF ADVISORY BOARDS
TechVenture
Fastrac® TechVenture™ is a ten-week program to help innovators and researchers understand the process of venture development. It is specifically designed for individuals with advanced degrees. Participants will have developed a venture model and venture plan, a financial plan, a venture capital package, and a management plan. NBDC offers the Fastrac® TechVenture™ program in cooperation with the Kauffman Foundation. The program is offered in Omaha and Lincoln. An application process is required and some scholarships are available.
